As a co-founder of Brainjar, Deevid has a clear vision of AI and its current value on the market. You might know Deevid as an AI evangelist. You'll find him talking about artificial intelligence in workshops, presentations, courses, or podcasts. Deevid possesses a rare mix of technical and soft skills, making him an AI connaisseur and invaluable speaker.
As one of the Managing Partners of Brainjar, Dries is the right person to talk to about the architecture of the solutions we build. As a true AI architect, Dries is involved in every part of the data pipeline. He guides and coaches our technical team, and makes sure the solution we build is the right solution.
When Maarten started at Brainjar, he started out with a project on real-time style transfer. His passion for AI was clear, but his keen eye for visual experience was what differentiated him. Over the years, he focused more on UI/UX in AI-based applications. It's rare to find someone with both knowledge of AI systems, and how the user best interacts with them.
As a technical product lead, Niels had experience growing AI proof of concepts and MVPs to production-ready applications. Niels has proven his value many times, both in designing and implementing architectures that support an AI lifecycle, as well as being a well-rounded software developer.
What's the use of having a great team and not flaunting it everywhere? Daphné makes sure our team, and Brainjar overall, are being seen all over the web. As Marketing Manager, she makes sure of the online presence of Brainjar on social media, in addition to writing insights on AI you can find on our website (you should check them out!).
What is the point of AI expertise, if it cannot be applied to large datasets? Jens is our Data scientist with two main specializations: deep learning and big data. In the past, Jens has performed deep learning tasks mainly on time series and textual data. Because he has mostly worked in large companies, he is a pro in visualizing and presenting his results to business stakeholders.
An AI model is useless, without software to support it. Brecht's the guy on our team who makes sure we get the right software for our applications. As a full-stack developer, he builds what our clients need with Python and JavaScript.
Leonor got into coding because she likes it when small-scale concepts interconnect with each other in a way that has a bigger impact. Understanding how things work in-depth and getting the bigger picture drives her. Putting together the puzzle pieces in a trial-and-error way appeals to her - as do the fantastic applications of AI and their growth potential. Now, she works as a Data Scientist for Brainjar.
As an MSc in Statistical Data Analysis, Olivier is the perfect guy to be a Data Scientist on our team. Olivier has a deep interest in machine learning, Python, and statistics, and likes to transform complex data by using algorithms. He contributes to the improvement of client solutions, business models, and operational processes by translating data into reliable information.
After spending his time writing his Bachelor's thesis at Brainjar, we couldn't just let this guy go. As he finished up his study in Applied Informatics, we offered Arno a job as a Data Scientist. Arno is passionate about data science, computer vision, and automation.
Wout's journey at Brainjar started with an internship in which he worked on image enhancement. As it was clear there was a match made in heaven, we wanted Wout on our team as an AI Engineer. Now, he uses his full-stack expertise combined with his insights in AI to build the best possible solutions.
After working as a race strategist for the Alpine F1 team in England for seven and a half years, Tom left the racing world behind. However, he can still do what he does best at Brainjar: solving complex problems creatively as a Data Scientist, preferably with machine learning. Tom is mainly interested in computer vision but is also fond of efficiently visualizing data.
When he finished a successful internship for Brainhouse, we couldn't let Robrecht go. As an AI Engineer, Robrecht’s passion lies in computer vision and integrating AI into software that actually serves a purpose.
With a background in both front-end development and UX/UI design, Aagje is the Jill of all trades that can help us design software and then go on to build it. In addition, Aagje strives for a more inclusive world, and started our inclusion board.
